OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier has said he is satisfied with the level of cooperation with Ukraine during its chairmanship of this organization.

“I’m extremely pleased with the level of cooperation there is between our executive bodies of the organization and Ukraine as chair-in-office. This is a real team work full of transparency, and I believe that this work is extremely successful,” Zannier said at a meeting with Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.

He also noted that Ukraine had managed to strengthen the importance of energy security issues, environmental protection and the development of inter-state cooperation in the field of energy efficiency.

As reported, Ukraine from Jan 1, 2013 began to chair the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), which consists of 57 member states.
