Ukraine demands strict adherence to the first requirement of the Minsk agreements on the ceasefire, press secretary of the Ukrainian representative to the Group Leonid Kuchma, Darka Olifer, has said.

“The OSCE SMM [Special Monitoring Mission] still hasn’t been given access to the military hardware sites of certain districts in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as to the non-controlled part of the Ukrainian-Russian border,” Olifer said.

She said that Ukraine also demands that other international organizations and their experts, namely ‘Doctors Without Borders’, are given access to certain territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions which aren’t controlled by the government “to provide and distribute humanitarian aid among the civilians living in these territories of Donbas.”

Olifer also drew attention to the need to stir up the process of prisoners swaps.

“As for now, there is no progress over this issue,” she said.
