DONETSK - Members of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Special Monitoring Commission (OSCE SMM) will visit the sites, where the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) will pull back the weapons only after the military hardware is brought there.

The OSCE SMM will visit the weapons storage sites where the military hardware will be withdrawn only after the weapons are pulled back there, OSCE SMM Deputy Chief Monitor Alexander Hug told reporters.

The OSCE SMM teams in the Donetsk region will supervise the pullback of weapons on the DPR-controlled territories, he said.

Hug said earlier that with the aim to observe the implementation of the Minsk agreements in terms of the pullback of weapons under 100mm in caliber from the contact line in Donbas the OSCE SMM has set up advanced bases of their patrols: two in the Luhansk region and one – in the Donetsk region.

He recalled that the agreement on weapons pullback was planned to implement in two stages: at first in the Luhansk region, then in the Donetsk region. The weapons withdrawal process will have three stages: at first tanks, then artillery guns and then mortars. Fifteen days are given for this.
