You're reading: Over 11,000 Russians banned from entry to Ukraine

Since the beginning of the counter-terrorism operation Ukraine launched earlier this week, the law enforcement agencies banned over 11,000 citizens of Russia to enter Ukraine.

“In order not to admit penetration of the radically tuned individuals
on the territory of Ukraine in the frames of our joint operation, over
11,000 citizens of Russia received a ban from entering Ukraine. Of them,
117 are involved in extremist activities,” spokesperson of the Security
Service of Ukraine (SBU) Maryna Ostapenko said a briefing on Thursday.
