You're reading: Over 50 populated localities in Luhansk Oblast remain without gas supply

A total of 56 towns and villages in Luhansk Obast were fully and 24 partly without gas supplies as of Aug. 29, the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) has reported.

“Today gas supplies were restored to four settlements in Luhansk Oblast: the villages of Samsonivka, Prydorozhne in Krasnodon district, Irmino in Perevalsk district, and Stanytsia-Luhansk (up to 12,000 users). In all, 24 populated localities in Luhansk region remain partly and 56 fully without gas supply,” NSDC spokesman Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing on Aug. 29.
