ZAPORIZHIA, Ukraine - More than 50 unidentified Ukrainian servicemen, killed during the anti-terrorist operation, will be buried in Zaporizhia on Sept. 26, chief of the Zaporizhia regional state administration Valeriy Baranov said at a press briefing on Sept. 22.
“We have taken DNA samples from the killed servicemen and added this information to the DNA database. We plan to bury the soldiers at noon on Friday at the Kushuhum city cemetery with all honors and procedures observed,” he said.
A monument will be set up at the burial place in the future, Baranov said.
