Over 60,000 foreign students study in Ukraine, Education, Science, Youth and Sports Minister Dmytro Tabachnyk has said.
“As of January 2013, 60,300 foreign students were studying in Ukraine,” the minister said at a press conference in Kyiv on Monday.
He said the number of students from Europe and North America is over 4,000.
He also said the number of the Ukrainian students studying abroad is several times less than the number of foreign students studying in Ukraine.
Moreover, foreign students pay Hr 4.3 billion per year for their studies in Ukraine, he said.
