The Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, will consider a bill on the state budget for 2012 on Friday, Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn has said.

"We will most likely have to consider these bills [on the state budget for 2012, on the state program of economic and social development in 2012 and on the main areas of development in 2013 and 2014] on Friday," Lytvyn said at a meeting of parliament’s conciliatory council of the heads of committees and factions in Kyiv on Monday.

The speaker also said that the Cabinet of Ministers would consider the draft state budget for 2012 and the draft state program of Ukraine’s economic and social development at its meeting on Wednesday and immediately submit them to parliament.

Lytvyn noted that a bill on the land market would not be considered on Friday.
