KYIV, Nov. 28 – The Narodny Rukh, the Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists, and the Reforms and Order Party have created a single bloc to participate in the 2002 parliamentary elections, representatives of the three parties – Heorhy Kriuchkovsky, Yaroslav Stetsko, and Viktor Pynzenyk – said at a press conference in Parliament on Wednesday.

According to them, joint participation in the parliamentary elections will enable the three parties to form an influential center-right faction in the next Parliament.

According to the parties’ leaders, the parties will soon draft and adopt a joint program of action and try to compile a joint list of election candidates in the near future.

The Narodny Rukh and the Reforms and Order parties parliamentary factions presently have 19 and 14 members, respectively.
