Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill will visit Luhansk and Alchevsk dioceses on Sept. 14-15, reads a statement posted on the Web site of the Moscow Patriarchate on Sept.12.

Upon arrival in Luhansk on Wednesday evening, the Russian patriarch will visit the St. Volodymyr Cathedral in the city.

On Sept. 15, he will head a divine liturgy on Teatralna Square in Luhansk.

On the same day, the patriarch will attend a flower-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on WWII Heroes Square and lay the foundation stone for a temple in the city.
