Kharkiv - Personal belongings of passengers of the Malaysia Airlines MH17 flight found on the crash scene in the Donetsk region have been delivered to Kharkiv, the region state administration press service said.

‘As of now, personal belongings and luggage of the deceased passengers have reached the Kharkiv region. Dutch experts who arrived in Kharkiv earlier are handling the cargo on the premises of the Malyshev Plant,’ the press service said.

The things’ transportation to the Netherlands has been discussed at a meeting between Kharkiv region state administration head Ihor Baluta and Dutch members of the MH17 search party.

The meeting was also attended by customs officers, border guards, policemen and representatives of the Malyshev Plant and the Netherlands.

Baluta promised further support to the search party and appropriate conditions for experts handing personal belongings of the deceased passengers in the Kharkiv region.
