You're reading: PGO draws up letter stating Yanukovych is suspected of gaining improper advantage over Mezhyhirya fraud

The Public Prosecutor's Office (PGO) has drawn up a letter of notification that Viktor Yanukovych and several officials are suspected of illegally seizing state property - buildings and facilities of the Puscha Vodytsia complex of the Mezhyhirya Tract, and land parcels of over 100 hectares.

“Public Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine on June 16, 2015 drew up letters of notification that former president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, director of Medinvesttrade H.Herasymenko, director of Tantalit LLC P.Lytovchenko and other persons are suspected of coming crimes foreseen in Part 5 of Article 191, Part 3 of Article 209 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine due to the fact of seizing state property – buildings and facilities of the Puscha Vodytsia complex of the Mezhyhirya Tract and land parcels of over 100 hectares on which they are located and actions to legalize the illegally obtained property committed with the help of Serhiy Kliuyev,” the PGO press service reported on June 17.

In addition, a letter of notification stating that Yanukovych is suspected of committing crimes under Part 5 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine has been drawn up.
