Ukrainians polled on the streets tend to favor the opposition, while more Ukrainians polled in premises support the government, according to the findings of the sociological poll held by the Oleksandr Razumkov Ukrainian Centre for Economic and Political Studies.

According to the findings of the street poll, if the elections were
held next Sunday, then 27.9% of those ready to participate in the
elections would vote for the Batkivschyna All-Ukrainian Union, 23.9% –
for the Regions Party, 8.7% – for the UDAR Party of Vitali Klitschko,
7.4% – for the Communist Party and 5.4% – for the Svoboda All-Ukrainian
Union.

Natalia Korolevska’s Ukraine-Forward! Party was close to overcoming
the 5% barrier, as 4.7% respondents on the streets said they were ready
to vote for it.

At the same time while polling in premises, 28.3% of respondents
express their intentions to support the Regions Party; 26.2% – the
Batkivschyna All-Ukrainian Union; 10.8% the UDAR party; and 7.7% – the
Communist Party.

Meanwhile Svoboda and the Ukraine-Forward! parties would not break the 5% barrier, gaining 3.9% and 3.3% respectively.

The poll was conducted from June 16 to June 25 in 132 residential
areas (79 cities and towns and 53 villages). During the street poll
2,005 people were polled, while 2,009 Ukrainians took part in the
sociological poll in premises. The poll’s margin of error is 2.3%.
