Incumbent President Viktor Yanukovych and UDAR Party leader Vitali Klitschko lead in the presidential rating of March 2013 in Ukraine, according to a survey conducted by the sociological service of the Razumkov Center.
If the first round of presidential elections were held soon, 20.7% of respondents would vote for Yanukovych, 14.4% for Klitschko, 11.3% for Batkivschyna faction leader Arseniy Yatseniuk, 6.6% for Svoboda Party leader Oleh Tiahnybok, and 4.8% for Communist Party leader Petro Symonenko.
At the same time, the Razumkov Center provided no information on the victory of a certain candidate in the second round.
The survey was conducted in all regions in Ukraine in March 2013. A total of 2,010 respondents aged over 18 from 132 towns and villages were interviewed. The poll’s margin of error does not exceed 2.3%.
Presidential elections, according to the Constitution of Ukraine, are to be held in 2015. A presidential candidates needs to collect at least 50% of the vote to win the first round of the elections.
