Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has announced that he has scheduled a meeting with regional governors in Odesa oblast next week.

“On Wednesday, I plan to meet with governors in Odesa region,” he said in an interview on Ukrainian TV Channel on July 3 evening.

The meeting will address issues related to a transparent office of justice and will approve a working plan for the so-called “first customs zone,” which is to be created in Odesa Oblast in the near future.

“If it comes out that the national budget receives considerably more revenue due to anti-smuggling efforts, these funds will be spent on a road between Odesa and Reni, which is virtually not usable now,” he said.
