Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has expressed the opinion that the cabinet, which will be formed after the Verkhovna Rada has a new majority, should be downsized.

“I think there will be the reduction in the number of posts in government. This is something we currently have to do,” he said speaking at the Poroshenko Bloc’s headquarters on Oct. 26 evening.

The president also believes that significant changes await the newly elected Verkhovna Rada.

“Including a serious reduction in the number of committees,” Poroshenko said.
