You're reading: Poroshenko disbands national energy and utilities commissions

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed decrees disbanding the National Commission for Energy Regulation and the National Commission for Utility Services Regulation.

The head of state also signed a decree establishing the National Commission for Energy and Utility Services Regulation and approved its personal composition, consisting of the head and six commission members.

The abovementioned decisions are stipulated by decrees Nos. 692-695 of Aug. 27, 2014, which were published late on Wednesday, Aug. 27.

Volodymyr Demchyshyn was appointed the head of the commission, and Volodymyr Yevdokymov, Ruslan Mashliakovsky, Andriy Herus, Andriy Tkachenko, Valeriy Tarasiuk and Yulia Kovaliv became commission members.
