Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said that he expects the EU to decide on the introduction of the visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens at the Riga summit in May 2015.
“I think that at the Riga summit in the spring of 2015 the new Ukrainian government will do everything possible to ensure the declaration of the visa-free regime for Ukrainians entering the European Union,” he said at a meeting with students and professors in Lublin, Poland, on Dec.18.
He noted that infrastructure on the western border of Ukraine should be prepared before this event.
