Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko expects that the European Union will announce that a visa-free regime will be granted to Ukraine at the Eastern Partnership summit in Riga on May 21-22.
“A very important decision to be taken there is a visa-free regime with Ukraine. We, on our side, are doing our best to qualitatively get prepared for that summit and hope for the support of all 28 EU member states,” Poroshenko said at a joint press conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin on March 16.
