President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said it would be reasonable to return to privatization process.

“Please make necessary presentations in the parliament, discuss [these issues] with factions, exclude high-risk [facilities] out of the list of facilities that are the subjects of privatization and make an important decision to demonstrate the whole world that we changed. We will ensure transparent and efficient privatization in a completely different way,” Poroshenko said during a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine on March 4.
His spokesman said that the president has asked Economic Development and Trade Minister Aivaras Abromavicius to initiate a discussion of this topic in the parliament.
Besides, the head of state has reported that Prime Minister of Italy Matteo Renzi said today that Italian investors are ready to take part in privatization of infrastructure, energy and telecommunication facilities in Ukraine.
