Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko laid flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Kyiv's Glory Park on Oct. 28 on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Ukraine from the Nazi occupation during World War II.

The ceremony was also attended by Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Parliamentary Speaker Oleksandr Turchynov, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and members of the Ukrainian government, an Interfax correspondent has reported.
