You're reading: Poroshenko: President, government, parliament have common idea to bring peace to Donbas

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said that he has no disputes with the leaders of the government and parliament regarding the steps taken for the peaceful settlement of the situation in the east of the country.

“We have no disagreements in our opinions regarding the peace plan, the priorities of the peaceful development of the events within the president-parliament-government triangle,” the president said in an interview with Ukrainian TV channels on Sept. 21 evening.

He said that the actions meant for this are being coordinated between the branches of the power.

“I haven’t heard from [Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy] Yatsenyuk any thoughts on the priorities of the peace plan that were totally different from mine,” Poroshenko said.
