Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko decided to recall Ukrainian Ambassador to Belarus Mykhailo Yezhel.

“A decision has been adopted to recall the Ambassador to Belarus
Mykhailo Yezhel. At the moment corresponding documents are being
formalized. At the moment Minsk is playing a very important role in the
peace talks’ process, that is why I should guarantee a constant presence
of an ambassador there,” the president said at Shyroky Lan training
range near Mykolaiv, where the president took part in the drills of
paratroopers, as 1+1 TV reported.

Yezhel was appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to Belarus in April 2013.

In 2010-2012, he was the minister of defense.
