Poroshenko says 78 percent of Ukrainians welcomes decentralization of power

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said that 78 percent of Ukrainian population strongly supports decentralization of power.

“According to sociological studies, 78 percent of Ukrainian people gave firm ‘pro’ to decentralization of power… However, there are those who oppose this,” Poroshenko said at a meeting with representatives of territorial communities on Aug. 29 in Kyiv.
