MARIUPOL - Local elections in Ukraine will be held on October 25, 2015, but the date when they will be conducted in the occupied territories of Donbas has not been determined yet, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said.

“I can say with all confidence that the elections in the territory controlled by us will take place on October 25 […] Unfortunately, I am not ready to give the date of the voting there [in the territories not controlled by Kyiv],” the president said at a meeting in Mariupol, Donetsk Oblast, on June 11.
