President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko stated Kyiv has fulfilled the key provisions of the peace agreements and expects the same from Russia, the presidential press service has reported.

‘Ukraine has fulfilled the key provisions of the peace settlement agreements. Ukraine and our European partners, the whole world expect the same from Russia and its henchmen: not to play with the agreements but implement them,’ the president said, speaking on occasion of the Independence Day in Kyiv.

Otherwise, Poroshenko noted, the reaction of the international community must be resolute and uncompromising.

‘With this clear message, immediately after our meeting with you, dear friends, I will leave for Berlin to meet with the leaders of Germany and France,’ he said.
