Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed the decree on the military discharge of mobilized servicemen for the period defined by the president's decree as of May 6, 2014 No. 454 "On partial mobilization."

“In May-July, 2015, to discharge those drafted for service under the mobilization for the period defined by the decree of the President of Ukraine as of May 6, 2014 No. 445 ‘On partial mobilization,'” reads the transcript of the decree posted on the President’s website.

In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers is to provide funding and take other relevant actions connected to the discharge of the servicemen.

Law enforcement agencies must discharge mobilized servicemen and provide them with transportation to the places of residence. The agencies are also to give them a set of field uniform, clothes and food for the time needed to get to their places of residence.

The soldiers, who were drafted under the first wave of partial mobilization held through March 17-May, 2014, when 40,000 people were mobilized, are currently expecting to be discharged. They are to be changed by soldiers drafted under the fourth and fifth waves of mobilization in 2015.
