Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed a law allowing local administrations to undertake the procurement of works, goods and services for the construction of engineering structures with the aim of strengthening the defense of the state during the special period.
“The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed Law No. 311-VIII, which provides the possibility of local state administrations to carry out procurement activities (goods, services) for the construction of engineering structures with the aim of strengthening the defense of the state during the special period”, the presidential press service said.
The press service noted that the law “On amending article 39 of the Law of Ukraine ‘On state procurement’ was developed in response to specific economic and social circumstances that make it impossible to comply with customer deadlines to competitive bidding procedures.
