Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed a law certifying the agreement with Lithuania and Poland on the creation of a joint military unit.

According to a report posted on the Ukrainian presidential website on Feb. 20, the agreement envisages the creation of a joint Ukrainian-Polish-Lithuanian brigade-level military unit and determines the general purpose, principles, decision-making procedures, security and other organizational events associated with the brigade’s activities.
