Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed the law on ensuring the rights and freedoms of internally displaced persons, which was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on Oct. 20 (bill No. 4490a).
“Internally displaced persons have received their status. The president has signed the law,” Ukrainian presidential press secretary Sviatoslav Tseholko wrote on his page on Facebook on Nov. 19.
