You're reading: Poroshenko tasks by Nov. 18 to prepare National Security Strategy draft for Rada’s discussion

President of Ukraine has signed a decree to prepare a draft extraordinary message from president to Verkhovna Rada on internal and external state of the country in the national security sector.

Under to the decree, head of president’s administration Borys Lozkin was charged as responsible for preparing the document. Besides, a working panel will be established consisting of advisor to the president Director of the National Institute for Strategic Studies Volodymyr Horbulin, deputy head of presidential administration Ihor Hryniv, deputy head of the presidential administration Dmytro Shymkiv and deputy secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Lytvynenko, the president’s press service said.

The president ordered the working panel to provide preparing by Nov. 18, 2014 a message that determines a new Strategy of the National Security of Ukraine.

On Oct. 26, early parliamentary elections will be held in Ukraine.
