President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will discuss the situation in Donbas and peace initiatives in Paris, the presidential staff reported.

“I can announce that next week president will make a visit to France. The visit is aimed at coordination of the actions with France over many issues: both over peace plan, peacekeeping idea, bilateral cooperation,” deputy presidential chief of staff Valeriy Chaly said at a briefing on April 17.

Moreover, he did not rule out other international meetings of the president in nearest future.

He also said the head of state was going to hold telephone talks with the international partners soon.

“I can confirm you that a dialogue with all participants of the ‘Normandy format’ in a bilateral regime continues now, along with the U.S. leadership,” he said.
