Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will submit the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement to parliament along with a package of ratification documents and the agreement's implementation plan, the president's representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Kniazevych, has said.

“Given the internal state procedures, the president officially asked
the government to immediately submit to the president a package of the
necessary documents agreed with the EU so that he, in accordance with to
the Constitution, could table it in parliament for further
ratification,” he said at a plenary meeting of parliament in Kyiv on
Wednesday, July 23.

He said that date the government had not currently prepared this package and had not passed it to the president.

“Moreover, along with the ratification package the government is
preparing a plan of national implementation of the respective
agreement,” Kniazevych said.
