Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said he believes that the withdrawal of MPs from the coalition should not paralyze the work of the Verkhovna Rada - MPs should continue to make decisions that are important for the country.

“I believe that the withdrawal of MPs from the coalition should not paralyze the parliament’s work. The Verkhovna Rada must continue to address issues of national importance: the law on amendments to the state budget which needs to be passed for the financing of our army, which is currently heroically defending our country, as well as the documents on which the cooperation with international financial institutions depends,” the president’s press service quoted Poroshenko as saying.
