President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said that there is no good reason to reshuffle the county's security chiefs.

Asked if there was a reason to replace any security chiefs, Poroshenko said: “Is there a specific leader, who could replace [Defense Minister Valeriy] Heletey? I don’t know of such [a person].”

The president said that in such a situation it is easier to criticize than to propose definite steps.

Commenting on the encirclement of the Ukrainian troops in some residential areas in the east of Ukraine, the president stressed that all necessary conclusions have been made, and decisions have been taken.

“Regarding the events in Volnovakha, the events near [the village of] Svitle, near Chervonopartyzansk, where soldiers of the 51st brigade gave themselves up as prisoners, I ordered the disbanding of this brigade,” the president said.

He said that a new quality 14th brigade was formed on the constant deployment site of this military unit, made up of new soldiers and new commanders.
