You're reading: Program of Medvedev’s visit to Ukraine changed

The program of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's May 17-18 visit to Ukraine has been changed, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych's press service reported on Monday.

According to the amended program, on Monday at 1315, the Ukrainian and Russian presidents will lay flowers at the Tomb of Unknown Soldier in the Park of Glory.

At 1335, Medvedev and Yanukovych will take part in a ceremony to commemorate the victims of the Holodomor (Famine) in Ukraine (the Memorial to Holodomor Victims, 15 Mazepy Street).

At 1400, an official ceremony to welcome Medvedev will take place (11 Bankova Street, in the square in front of the Presidential Administration).

At 1420, Medvedev and Yanukovych will meet in private (11 Bankova Street, Presidential Administration).

At 1530, the third sitting of Ukrainian-Russian interstate commission chaired by the presidents will take place (11 Bankova Street, Presidential Administration).

At 1710, agreements between Russia and Ukraine will be signed (10 Bankova Street, Horodetsky House).

At 1730, Yanukovych and Medvedev will hold a press conference (11 Bankova Street, Presidential Administration).

The National Television and Radio Company will broadcast all the events live.

The main communications department of the Presidential Administration will announce Russian president’s schedule for May 18 later.
