The Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office has detained former First Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Borys Prykhodko, First Deputy Prosecutor General Mykola Herasymiuk has said.

“The Prosecutor General’s Office late last night detained former
First Deputy Head of the National Bank Borys Viktorovych Prykhodko.
According to the results of the investigation conducted, in February
2014, the NBU first deputy head, by prior collusion with the head of the
board of OJSC Agrarian Fund and Brokbusinessbank officials… illegally
seized Hr 2.069 billion in cash of OJSC Agrarian Fund,” he said at a
press conference in Kyiv on Friday, Aug. 1.
