Prosecutors drop tax case against TVi

According to the statement by the general prosecutor’ press service on July 27, an internal investigation found a lack of evidence for opening the case against Mykola Kniazhytsky, head of the independent TVi channel.

If there is truth in your comment then we must be thankfull that 'Putins puppet' may save us from the EU and fools like you that would have us part of a failed attempt of a single state Europe. Concentrate on your own countries dire problems and we will take care of our own.

It is clear that the President and Government are behind all efforts to kill opposition in Ukraine. I hope the people of Ukraine will be clever enough to understand what's going on, but I doubt it after the they elected Yanukovitch. If the next election gets lost for the opposition, Ukraine will be lost for a very long time. It wil be a march to the Feudal system of the 18th century then.

Well, well, a word from the "president" - who claims he is unable to "interfere" in the show trials of political opponents - and this case is immediately dropped. How about the credibility of the "president", anyone? Anyway, the pressure on media is not likely to decrease, the PoR mafia has only found there may be other ways to crack down on media freedom, like limiting the access to the channel by having it removed from cable networks.
