Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Mykola Prysiazhniuk has said that he is alarmed at the fall in the price of grain from the new harvest and is calling on farmers not to be in a hurry to sell their grain.

"I’ve personally called on farmers not to be in a hurry with the sale of the harvest at the present prices, but hold on to it for a while," the ministry’s press service reported, citing Prysiazhniuk.

The press release says that reports of low prices for grain being offered by grain traders are coming directly from farmers.
