 ST. PETERSBURG - Moscow will be prepared to work with the Ukrainian authorities to be formed after the presidential election, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

 “We are already working with people in office and we will certainly be prepared to work with the new authorities after the election,” the chief of state emphasized in his speech at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum.

Moscow wishes “Ukraine finally has peace and tranquility and that conditions are created for this country to recover from the crisis,” Putin said.

“We are interested in peace, order and tranquility on our western borders, in this country of our kinfolk, and I am not being ironic, Ukraine,” the president stated.
