You're reading: Rada adopts bill securing jobs, wages of mobilized citizens for 18 months

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted a draft law that secures the jobs, positions and average wages for 18 months for the citizens mobilized by the military.

All in all, 233 MPs supported corresponding draft law No. 2079.

The adopted bill introduces changes to the Code of Labor Laws of Ukraine, according to which the jobs, positions and average salaries are secured, but for no longer than 18 months, for employees mobilized during the special period.

According to current legislation, the jobs, positions and average salaries of employers are secured for no longer than 12 months upon mobilization.
