The Ukrainian parliament has ratified an agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the government of the Russian Federation on cooperation in plant quarantines.
Some 256 of the registered 347 MPs voted for a relevant law.
According to an explanatory note to the document, the law will facilitate the implementation of state policy for further mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of crop quarantines.
The Cabinet of Ministers and the Russian government signed the agreement in Moscow on June 7, 2011.
