You're reading: Rada ratifies memo on Ukraine-NATO cooperation on information, reconnaissance

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has ratified a memorandum between the Ukrainian government and the NATO Communications and Information Agency on consultation, control, communications, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance within the framework of NATO's Partnership for Peace Program. A total of 267 parliamentarians voted for respective bill No. 0035 on June 30. The memorandum was signed in Brussels on April 24, 2015.

According to Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine on European Integration Ihor Dolhov, the ratification is aimed at securing the “implementation of the NATO trust fund on improvement of the communications systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine”.
