Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov has said that the active phase of the anti-terrorist operation resumed in eastern Ukraine on July 1 morning.
“Today, I have spoken with the defense minister and the interior minister…. The active phase of the anti-terrorist operation has resumed since morning. Our armed forces are attacking terrorists’ bases and strongholds,” he said opening a parliament session on July 1.
