You're reading: Rada urges EU, US, to compel Russia to withdraw its military units from Ukraine

Verkhovna Rada has urged European Union's states and the United States to make Russian Federation to withdraw its military units from the Ukraine's territory and to stop the supplies of the arms to the terrorists.

The parliament approved the text of the statement of the Verkhovna
Rada “On counteracting the spread of international terrorism, supported
by the Russian Federation” under 234 votes of MPs for of 260 accredited
for the voting.

“Verkhovna Rada urges EU and US countries, other states…to take
resolute and effective measures of economic, political and diplomatic
pressure on Russia as a state, which threatens the security of the
modern Europe and world, so that Russia withdraw its subdivisions from
the territory of Ukraine, to stop supplies of mercenaries, armaments and
machinery to the terrorists…and liberate temporarily occupied territory
of Ukraine,” the parliament said.

The lawmaker also call the parliaments and governments of the world
countries to recognize so-called ‘Donetsk People’s Republic’ and
‘Luhansk People’s Republic’ and other formations of the type as
terrorist organizations.

“Verkhovna Rada addresses to the all countries of the world to
coalesce against the terrorism sponsored by Russia,” reads a statement.
