You're reading: Radical party approves candidates list for Rada elections

The Radical Party approved its election program and candidates on its election list and in majority constituencies at the convention of the party in Kyiv on Sunday, Sep. 14.

“The main peculiarity of the list is that it doesn’t include any current MPs besides me,” the Radical Party’ press service on Monday, Sep. 15, quoted party leader Oleh Liashko as saying.

“There are also no former Verkhovna Rada MPs besides the patriot and true statesman Ivan Zayets, who was a co-author of the Declaration of Ukraine’s state sovereignty. The majority of the candidates on the list are young people. There are no retirees, once again with the exception of Zayets. We gave an example of how to conduct lustration.”

The candidates list for early parliamentary elections included people in the following order: Oleh Liashko, Chairman of Radical party in Kyiv Council Andriy Lozovy, Commander of Aidar battalion Serhiy Melnychuk, singer Zlata Ohnevych, Maidan activists, lawyer Artem Zapototsky, political scientist Ihor Popov, Commander of Luhansk-1 battalion Artem Vitko, sportsman Denys Sylantyev, Director of the Center for Anti-Terrorist Operation Support, former Deputy Commander of

The Azov battalion Ihor Mosiychuk, a volunteer who helps injured soldiers in Kharkiv military hospital, Olena Kosheleva, economist Viktor Halasiuk (Bionic Hill) and the director of the party’s executive committee, Valeriy Voschevsky.
