You're reading: Radical Party leader Liashko initiates creation of National Salvation Headquarters

Oleh Liashko, leader of the Radical Party of Ukraine, suggested the creation of National Salvation Headquarters to protect the Ukrainian Constitution and called on the parliamentarians who voted against the bill on the decentralization of power to unite.

“We are initiating the creation of National Salvation Headquarters to protect the Ukrainian Constitution,” Liashko said on the Constitution Square near the Rada building.

The parliamentarian also suggested forming in the parliament the “people’s Rada” composed of all the parliamentarians who voted against the bill on changes to the Constitution dealing with decentralization.

Liashko also called on his comrades and other citizens of Ukraine not to give in to provocations and not to throw sticks, stones and other objects at the police.
