The largest c featuring a portrait of astronaut Yuri Gagarin has been laid out in the central square of Kyiv, and entered into the register of records of Ukraine. Some 15 people in a period of 20 minutes put together the pieces of a 25-square-meter puzzle with an image of Gagarin on Independence Square in Kyiv on Tuesday, a correspondent of Interfax-Ukraine reported.

In addition, smaller puzzles featuring rocketry pioneer Konstantin Tsiolkovsky and Soviet Chief Spacecraft Designer Sergei Korolev were assembled on the square.

Representatives from the national register of records measured the picture of Gagarin and said that it had an area of 24.84 square meters.

An expert on the national register of records, Vitaliy Zorin, confirmed that the puzzle had the largest such portrait of Gagarin, and it was entered in the register of records of Ukraine.
