Lutsk – The E-Booking system for the rapid passage of tourist buses has started working at Ukrainian-Polish border checkpoints in Volyn region.

An Interfax-Ukraine reporter said that this issue was discussed during the presentation of a project with representatives of both sides in Dorohusk (Poland).

According to an inspector of the Dorohusk customs checkpoint, Martin Kharasin, the system envisages the registration of a vehicle with passengers on a Web site one day before the crossing of the border.

Over this period, he said, the checkpoint’s employees will conduct all of the necessary checks that previously were conducted on the arrival of the bus at the checkpoint, which will significantly speed up the movement of the queue.

The system works at the entry and exit from Poland. The registration of buses a day before the crossing of the border is free for tour operators and transport operators.

The head of the Dorohusk checkpoint, Tomasz Wronowski, noted that this system does not apply to private passenger cars with a small group of tourists, but concerns only vans and buses.
