The results of the early presidential elections held on May 25 approved by the Central Election Commission, which declared Petro Poroshenko the winner, were posted in the official Holos Ukrainy and Uriadovy Kurier newspapers on June 3.

The electronic versions of the new issues of the newspapers appeared in the early hours of June 3 on their Web sites.

As reported, the CEC announced on June 2 that Petro Poroshenko, an independent parliamentary deputy, was elected president in the early presidential elections on May 25. Poroshenko garnered 54.7percent (9.86 million) of the ballots cast by voters.
